The Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, operates as a stock exchange in the Philippines. It operates through Equity, Clearing, and Settlement Business; and Depository and Fixed Income Business segments. The company provides listing, trading, market data, clearing, and settlement services. It also offers shares of stock, depository receipts, company warrants securities, Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), Dollar Denominated Securities (DDS), and Real Estate Investment Trust (REITs), as well as disclosure information accessible in both website and mobile applications (PSE EDGE), IPO subscription by retail investors (PSE EASy), online trading (PSETradex), and market data for retail investors (PSE EQUIP). In addition, the company is involved in synchronizing the settlement of funds for transactions of clearing members and the transfer of securities; administration of the Clearing and Trade Guaranty Fund and guaranteeing the settlement of trades in the event of a trading participant’s default; and performance of risk management and monitoring activities to ensure settlement. Further, it operates as the independent audit, surveillance, and compliance unit to ensure the integrity of the capital market, investigate violation of rules by trading participants, and trading-related irregularities and unusual trading activities committed by issuers, as well as offers software development services; and owns and manage the real estate assets.
