Aztec Minerals Corp. acquires, explores for, and evaluates mineral resources in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The company primarily explores for gold, copper, silver, lead, and zinc deposits. It holds an option to acquire 100% interest in the Cervantes porphyry gold-copper property covering an area of 3,649 hectares located in Sonora, Mexico; and holds 75% interest in the Tombstone Property Joint Venture, which includes most of the original patented mining claims in the district as well as some recently acquired properties covering an area of 452.02 hectares located in southeast of Tucson.
