The company operates in three segments: Chemical Products, Electronic Materials, and Functional Chemicals. It offers chemical products, including biomass acrylates and acrylic monomers for coating raw materials and adhesives; and electronics materials, such as display device and semiconductor materials. The company also provides specialty chemicals comprising cosmetics raw materials, which include cationic, anionic, betaine, nonionic, and acidic thickening polymers; functional materials, such as ink jet and coating materials, as well as esters; and commercialization support for functional monomers and polymers, organic compounds, and medical intermediates. In addition, it offers equipment comprising reaction tanks and distillation columns; and engages in the refining and processing of solvents. The company was founded in 1941 and is headquartered in Chuo, Japan.
