Solid Group Inc., an investment holding company, engages in the distribution/retail, property and related services, logistics and technical solutions, and investment and other businesses in the Philippines. The company is involved in the sale of mobile phones and devices, home appliances and other electronic products, professional audio and video equipment, and prefabricated modular houses and office units; and hotel and restaurant operations. It also develops, leases, and sells industrial and other real estate properties. In addition, the company engages in the warehousing and distribution activities; and receivable factoring, financing, discounting, leasing, automotive financing, and credit extension activities. Further, it offers logistics and assembly services for consumer electronic products; broadband, cable, and satellite services; and repair services for audio and video products. The company was formerly known as United Paracale Mining Company and changed its name to Solid Group Inc. in June 1996. Solid Group Inc. was incorporated in 1933 and is headquartered in Makati City, the Philippines.
