About Westell Technologies, Inc.

Westell Technologies, Inc., through its subsidiary, designs, manufactures, and distributes telecommunications solutions to telephone companies in the United States. It operates through three segments: In-Building Wireless (IBW), Intelligent Site Management (ISM), and Communications Network Solutions (CNS). The IBW segment provides class A and B repeaters, VHF/UHF repeaters, public safety distributed antenna systems (DAS), and battery backup units; passive signal distribution products, attenuation solutions, protection products, and antennas for the public safety and cellular markets. The ISM segment offers a suite of remote units, which provide machine-to-machine communications that enable operators to remotely monitor, manage, and control site infrastructure and support systems, as well as support and deployment services. The CNS segment provides a range of indoor and outdoor network infrastructure, such as integrated cabinets, power distribution products, copper and fiber network connectivity products, and fiber access products. The company was formerly known as Electronic Information Technologies, Inc. and changed its name to Westell Technologies, Inc. in October 1995. Westell Technologies, Inc. was incorporated in 1980 and is headquartered in Aurora, Illinois.
