Hyundai Corporation operates as an import and export trading company in the Republic of Korea, the United States, Asia, Europe, and internationally. The company distributes hot and cold rolled steel products, rear panels, coated steel sheets, steel pipes, bar and section steel, and stainless steel; aluminum, zinc, slabs, billets, blank coins, and bank note papers; gasoline, diesel oil, aircraft fuel, and sea bunkering, as well as olefin, aroma, synthetic resins, raw materials, and chemical fertilizers; and passenger and commercial vehicles, special and military vehicles, engines, and automobile parts. It also supplies equipment, parts, and signal communication systems for speed trains, subway trains, diesel cars, locomotives, passenger cars, and light rails; and supertankers, medium-sized bulk carriers, container ships, and gas tankers, as well as engages in shipbuilding financing, ship repairing and remodeling, and used ship sales. In addition, the company constructs environmental and marine, transporting and loading, and gas processing facilities, as well as power plants, petrochemical plants, oil refineries, and desalination plants; produces industrial facilities and supplies related equipment; and provides turnkey services, project financing, and offtake services. Further, it supplies electric generation systems, substation equipment, power transmission equipment, and electric supply equipment; and offers commodities, engineering, transportation, installation, and audit services. Additionally, the company invests in and operates domestic rooftop solar power plants and supplies renewable energy products, such as PV modules and inverters; distributes excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts, supplementary equipment, pumping cars, cranes, and trucks; invests in and develops energy and resources, such as coal, oil, and gas; manufactures steel; and offers management consulting services. Hyundai Corporation was founded in 1976 and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.
