The company was formerly known as Metem Enerji ve Tekstil Sanayi Ticaret Anonim Sirketi and changed its name Isiklar Enerji ve Yapi Holding A.S. in February 2012. The company was incorporated in 1982 and is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey.
