Vietnam Pesticide Joint Stock Company primarily produces, processes, and trades in plant protection drugs. The company offers insect attractants and repellants, antiparasitic drugs for livestock, poultry farming, and household disinfectants; fertilizers and nitrogen compounds; plastic and synthetic rubber; basic chemicals; insecticides; and services of bottling and packaging, as well as herbicides. It also provides cosmetics, soaps, detergents, polishes, and toilet preparations; and cleaning houses and other buildings, fumigation, and print package services. In addition, the company manufactures and sells packaging products; produces and wholesales insecticides and disinfectants for household and medical applications; and purchases and sells machinery and equipment to produce plant protection products and equipment for plant protection production laboratories. Further, it invests in, constructs, and leases offices, guest houses, and apartments, as well as leases warehouses, factories, and commercial buildings. Additionally, the company provides technical inspection and analysis services, as well as trades in real estate properties. It also engages in the research and experimental development of natural sciences, engineering, technology, biotechnology, and agricultural sciences. The company was formerly known as Vietnam Southern Pesticides JSC and changed its name to Vietnam Pesticide Joint Stock Company in 1990. Vietnam Pesticide Joint Stock Company was founded in 1976 and is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
