Traphaco Joint Stock Company, together with its subsidiaries, produces and trades in pharmaceutical products, chemicals, and medical supplies and equipment in Vietnam. The company offers medical supplies; antipyretics; medicines for the hair, eyes, central neutral system, respiratory system, and liver; and other products. It is also involved in the production of medicines to treat human diseases, nutritional food products, and medicines derived from medicinal herbs; trading in medicines, pharmaceuticals, vaccines-biological products, chemicals, and nutritional food products; planting of medicinal plants; and processing of medicinal herbs. In addition, the company engages in the exporting and importing of medicines, pharmaceutical materials, and medical equipment; provision of accommodation services, and commercial activities and services; buying and selling of optical, medical, dental, and hospital equipment; and repair and maintenance services for specialized medical equipment and machinery. Further, it plants and processes pharmaceutical materials, and agriculture and forestry products, as well as food supplements, cosmetics, and chemicals. The company was formerly known as Pharmaceutical and Medical Material and Equipments Joint Stock Company and changed its name to Traphaco Joint Stock Company in July 2001. Traphaco Joint Stock Company was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam.
