The company engages in the construction of agriculture and rural development infrastructure projects; residential and non-residential buildings; civil engineering works, including irrigation works, hydropower plants, pumping stations, civil works, industrial works, transportation works, technical infrastructure works, underground and underwater works, and water supply and drainage pipeline works; and technical infrastructure works, such as wastewater treatment plants, landslide prevention works, and water supply and drainage works. It is also involved in real estate investment; site preparation; real estate business; land use rights owned, used, or leased; real estate consultancy, brokerage, and auction of real estate and land use rights; mining and quarrying of stone, sand, gravel, and clay; wholesale of iron, steel, and other metals, as well as other construction materials and installation equipment used in construction; and real estate trading activities. The company was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 40 Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company is a subsidiary of Lam Dong Investment and Hydraulic Construction Joint-Stock Company.
