Egyptian Resorts Company (S.A.E) develops communities in Egypt. Its flagship project is Sahl Hasheesh, a resort located in Red Sea coast. The company acquires land holdings; sells pre-designated land plots to sub-developers for various purposes, such as residential communities, hotels and entertainment venues, office parks, schools, hospitals, and others; and offers infrastructure development, and community and property management services. It also provides electricity, water and irrigation, communication network services, and roads and lighting; and develops and operates its own projects, including Old Town, Jamaran, Tawaya, and Sawari marina. The company was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Cairo, Egypt.
