It imports and markets buses, trucks, truck chassis, spare parts, and power generators under the Ashok Leyland brand, as well as fabricates bodies. The company also provides light commercial vehicles; bowsers, containers, cesspit emptiers, freezer trucks, concrete mixers, garbage compactors, etc.; and power solutions for various industrial, marine, and agriculture applications. In addition, it is involved in the repair and restoration of commercial vehicles; component manufacturing; letting vehicles on hire; and agency commission business, as well as offers after sale services, such as workshop facilities and road-side assistance. The company was incorporated in 1982 and is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
