The company also markets fruits such as blueberries, apples, wine grapes, and cherries. In addition, it engages in the manufacture of matches, elaboration of micro wood products; and the development and exploitation of forestry, agricultural, and fruit plantations. The company also exports its products to the United States, Peru, Brazil, and Japan. The company was incorporated in 1913 and is based in Santiago, Chile. Compañía Chilena de Fósforos S.A. is a subsidiary of Inversiones San Martín S.A.
